The management of Ghana Education Services wishes to inform all Regional/Metropolitan/Municipal/District Directors, that due to
the changes in the academic calendar, the reposting processes will now commence from 1st August 2021, to take effect from January 2022.
Reposting is done at the end of the academic year in order not to disrupt the flow of
teaching and learning. Since the academic year now starts in January and ends in
December, the reposting process cannot begin during the usual period.
The issuance of Assurance letters takes effect from 1st August 2021.
Completed applications for Inter-Regional Postings should be forwarded to the GES
Headquarters by 30th September 2021.
Please refer to the attached documents for processes to be followed in the issuance/release
of Inter-Regional and Inter/Intra District Re-postings.
Please note that a teacher seeking re-posting. can only be released, after the Director-
General has approved and issued out a re-posting letter to the applicant.
