The Minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum paid a surprise visit to the presbyterian senior high school, Legon, to interact with the students, staff, and the headmaster.
According to the minister it was during prep time and he had fun interacting with the students. His announced visit allowed him to assess how they organized their evening prep classes. He added that he had the opportunity to work mathematics with some of the students.
Meanwhile on the issue of food shortage in some senior high schools in the country which made some teacher unions, the Ghana National Association of Teachers GNAT to give government ultimatums to fix the situation in the schools.
Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum said during his interaction with the students he found out that the issue making rounds on some sections of the media that present Legon is experiencing food shortage is not true. He said the staff of the school has denied the news about food shortage in PRESECLegon
