Notice to all level 400 Teacher Trainees pursuing B.Ed JHS program in Colleges of Education


The management of the Institute of Education in collaboration with the Supported Teaching schools Unit has announced the postponement of the incoming Teaching practice to all final year level 400 Students of colleges of Education.

According to management the postponement of the 2021 macro Teaching is due to some semester break that has been announced by the management of the Ghana Education Service to all junior high schools in the country.

“The Institute of Education in collaboration with the Supported Teaching in Schools Unit wishes to inform all Level 400 Teacher Trainees pursuing the B.Ed JHS Program of the postponement of the date for resumption to schools of attachment for the 2021 Macro Teaching.” Management explained.

This decision has become necessary after the Institute of Education realized that Junior High Schools across the country will be going on their mid-semester break, starting September 6, 2021.

Therefore management of the Institute of Education has rescheduled a new date for the reporting of all level 400 Bachelor of Education students and encourage all students to abide by the new date scheduled.

In effect, all level 400 B.ED students pursuing the JHS programme are to report on the 13th of September, 2021.
