The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the Ghana National Association of Teachers GNAT, Mr. Prosper Takyi has disclosed that Teachers who were able to pass this year’s Promotion examination will be put on the scale this month-end, September 2021.
Speaking on Angel FM, Kumasi Base Radio station, on Saturday 11th of September 2021, Mr. Prosper Takyi stated that he and the Head of salary terms and conditions, Mr. Isaac Nii came and discuss it on that same platform last Month, August 2021 about the Teachers to be put on the right scale. He explained that GES has agreed to put Teachers who passed the promotion exam for 2021 to put on the right scale this month, September 2021.
According to him the Ghana National Association of Teachers GNAT is now hoping and anticipating by this month ending Teachers who passed this year’s Promotion examination will be put on the right scale.
Teachers have complained about the neglect of the management of the Ghana Education Service in putting those who passed the 2021 promotion examination on the right scale but this information from the Ashanti Regional Chairman of Ghana National Association of Teachers GNAT seeks to bring some hope to those who pass the promotion aptitude test for 2021.
