Newly qualified trained teachers to demonstrate next week over posting.

The 2020 batch of newly qualified trained teachers who have qualified to be posted in this 2021 has threatened to demonstrate next week following the delay of the management of Ghana Education Service in opening the recruitment portal.

Most of these newly qualified trained teachers were anticipating that they will hear good news from the Minister of finance presentation of the 2022 national budget that was read in parliament on Wednesday 17th November 2021.

But it was rather unfortunate that the minister did not mention anything concerning the recruitment of the teaching and non-teaching staff of Ghana Education Service which had made most of them worried.

Educegh.com discussion with an official of the Ghana Education Service has revealed that the 2022 national budget that was presented on Wednesday 17th November 2021 does not influence the recruitment of the staff of the Ghana Education Service. Citing the recent posting of teachers returning from study leave with pay and also the recruitment of both degree and diploma nurses that 2020 newly qualified trained teachers will be posted.

Meanwhile, the leadership of the newly qualified trained teachers forum said they are working tirelessly to ensure that the newly qualified trained teachers are posted before the end of this year 2021. They explained that letters have been served to the relevant authorities to ensure that they are posted.
