The management of the Ghana education services has outlined some of the areas that those who applied for this year’s promotion can be examined and encourage their applicants to check these areas very carefully.
For all those who applied for the rank of Principal superintendent (PS), assistant director two (AD11), and assistant director one (AD1) the scope of their test will cover ;
1.knowledge of the ministry of education and the Ghana education service
2.School/ classroom management and theories of learning
3.Assessment and evaluation.
4.Contemporary issue/ current and general knowledge.
” For, PS, AD11, and AD1, the scope of the test will cover
a.Knowledge of Ministry of Education and Ghana Education Service
b.School/ Classroom Management and Theories of Learning
c.Assessment and Evaluation
d.Contemporary Issues/ current and general knowledge” the management of GES stated.
Management of the Ghana education service added that for applicants for Deputy Director grade, in addition to the above,
they will be tested on Education Administration and Management.
The test will last between 40 minutes -1hour (maximum).
Applicants are to note that the exam is going to be multiple choice questions only and they should prepare adequately for the exam which is going to be administered as planned. It is almost the same as the face to face interview days that Ghana Education service use to employ in the years past
