The QUT Medical Centre is a dedicated healthcare facility serving the Queensland University of Technology community, including students, staff, alumni, their families, and the general public. With locations on both the Gardens Point and Kelvin Grove campuses in Brisbane, the centre offers accessible, professional, and confidential medical care tailored to support the wellbeing of the university community.

Locations and Operating Hours

  • Gardens Point Medical Centre: Located in X Block, Level 4, opposite the Lady Harriett Cafe.
  • Kelvin Grove Medical Centre: Situated in U Block, Level 2 at 44 Musk Avenue, near Woolworths and Domino’s Pizza.

Both centres operate Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM and are closed on weekends and public holidays. QUT also provides a shuttle bus service connecting the two campuses for easy access.

Who Can Access the Services?

  • Currently enrolled QUT students receive most services free of charge through bulk billing.
  • Staff members and the general public can access services with private billing.
  • Family members and QUT alumni are also welcome to use the facilities.
  • Please note, children under 17 years are not seen at the clinics, and post-natal care is not provided.
