Who is the director of CEWA?

Catholic Education Western Australia (CEWA) recently announced a leadership transition with the appointment of Annette Morey as the new Executive Director, effective from the beginning of Semester Two, 2025. She will succeed Mr. Wayne Bull, who is retiring after a distinguished career in Catholic education.

About Annette Morey

Annette Morey brings over 32 years of experience in Catholic education across Western Australia. Before her appointment as Executive Director, she served as the Deputy Executive Director of CEWA and held leadership roles in several Catholic school communities including Mater Dei College, Prendiville Catholic College, and St Norbert College.

Annette is recognized as a highly qualified and dedicated leader with a strong commitment to faith and learning. She has played a key role in shaping CEWA’s Strategic Initiatives 2030 and has built strong professional relationships with key stakeholders such as the Bishops of Western Australia, Catholic school principals, the Minister for Education, and educational bodies like the Department of Education and the Association of Independent Schools of Western Australia (AISWA).
