The management of the Ghana Education Service and the ministry of education are set to release the academic calendar for the 2023 academic year.
In recent times, the released of public basic schools academic calendar has been delayed causing confusion among parents and guardian of students. But this year, the management of the Ghana Education Service and the ministry of education are working together to get this issue resolved and provide clarity to parents and teachers.
Source from the ministry of education has confirmed that discussion with stakeholders on 2023 academic calendar is almost completed barring last minute changes. The calendar will be maybe announce this week.
Speaking to Joynews, the public relations officer of the Ghana Education Service Cassandra Twum Ampofo said the management of the Ghana Education Service and the ministry of Education are currently working with stakeholders and will release the academic calendar very soon.
It is expected that the release of the 2023 academic calendar will pave way for the release of placement in senior high schools.
