The management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) and the Social security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) in Collaboration with the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA) have successfully produced students Readers and Teachers’ manuals for the inclusion of Social security in Junior High schools and Senior High schools curricula.
The Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT), in collaboration with the Ghana Education Service (GES), will launch the Supplementary Readers on Social Security for Schools in Kumasi (Ashanti Region) on Tuesday, 15th March 2022 at 10 a.m.
SSNIT in partnership with the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA). has produced Supplementary Readers and Teachers’ Manuals on
Social Security for Students and Teachers in Junior and Senior High Schools.
The inclusion of social security content in the school curriculum will deepen students’ awareness of social security. It will also adequately prepare them to
insist on their right to social security as potential workers or discharge their responsibilities as future employers.
