The management of the National Teaching Council (NTC) in collaboration with the ministry of Education has successfully creatd an elearning platform for all in-service teachers.
This newly created NTC elearning platform is designed in way that training programs are mounted for in-service teachers to receive training online without necessarily taking part in the face to face workshop.
About five online courses has been mounted by NTC on the teachers elearning platform for teachers to receive online training on it. These five courses mounted on the NTC elearning platform are:
• Cyber security training for Teachers Course
• Professional development for Teachers
• Using Teacher portal Ghana as a district director
• Mobile learning with multimedia course
• Teaching in a Digital Age Course
When a Teacher successfully complete a course from the approved NTC course on the NTC elearning platform, that Teacher automatically get a free Continuous Professional development Points (CPD) on their NTC Teachers portal. Also NTC will send via email a certificate to the teacher as evidence of participation in the workshop.
On issue of delay CPD points management of the the National Teaching Council NTC has advise Teachers to make sure that the same email address used on the NTC Teachers portal Ghana (TPG) should be use when registering on the NTC elearning platform.
Steps in creating account on the NTC elearning platform
• log onto https://elearning.ntc.gov.gh/
• Click on new account
• fill in your personal details. Make sure the email you use is the same as the one you used in NTC Teachers portal Ghana Registration
• Click on create account
After a successful Registration, NTC will send an email on the email address use in creating the account. Open your email account for the verification email.
After opening the email there will be activation Link contain in the email. Click on the activation Link that was sent by NTC elearning platform to activate your account.
You have successfully creatd an NTC elearning platform account.
After creating your account, follow the below steps to login into your NTC elearning platform

• click on the link below to login on NTC elearning platform https://elearning.ntc.gov.gh/login/index.php
• enter your username
• enter your password
• click login
