Members of the Ghana National Association of teachers have complained day in day out about continuous payment of funds with nothing good coming from their leaders. This February the executive of the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) has proposed an increase in each member’s cancer fund contribution from 2gh to 5gh.
The executive of the Ghana National Association of teachers explains to their members that observations have been made and realized that the 2gh that each member of Gnat uses to pay every month as their contribution to the Gnat cancer fund can no longer sustain the fund and hence they saw it necessary to increase each member’s cancers fund contribution from 2gh cedis to 5gh to sustain the fund.
“It has become very evident that the two Ghana cedis (Gh¢2) per member per month, can no more sustain the cancer fund, in response to this reality, therefore, the organization wishes to propose an increase to five Ghana cedis (Gh¢5) per member per month.” The organization said
So all Gnat members should be informed that when he or she sees any increase on their payslip on the cancer fund, he or she should not be surprised if the changes take effect.
