Saiosh Registration Levels & Requirements

2. Associate Membership (AMSaiosh)

  • Requires a basic understanding of OHS.

  • No formal qualification needed, but some OHS exposure is beneficial.

3. Technical Membership (TechSaiosh)

Who it’s for: Practicing safety officers or professionals with a formal qualification.

  • Minimum of a relevant NQF Level 5 qualification (e.g., Health & Safety Certificate or Diploma).

  • At least 2 years of OHS work experience.

4. Graduate Membership (GradSaiosh)

  • Requires a nationally or internationally recognized OHS qualification at NQF Level 6 or higher.

  • No minimum experience, but work in the OHS field is expected.

5. Professional Membership (ProfSaiosh)
