Some low-performing basic schools in Ghana were selected for the introduction of the Ghana Accountability for Learning Outcomes Project (GALOP) to improve their performance levels. The program was introduced by the government to support the teachers and learners of these selected schools to improve their learning outcomes.

On the verge of supporting these schools, GALOP workshops will be organized this week starting from today Tuesday, 1st February to Friday 4th February 2022 in various District Education across the country.

Heads of Basic schools and their teachers will undergo training on basic information and communication concepts and internet skills to enable them to prepare weekly reports of their schools to the Ghana Education Service (GES) headquarters.

Ghana Accountability for Learning Outcomes Project (GALOP) schools will be provided with an HP laptop and a modem to enable prepare weekly reports and submit them online to Ghana Education Service headquarters Accra.

Most under privilege and less endowed schools whose performance is below standard are to be supported by this New government Agency to help upgrade their performance.
