Trainee Teachers allowance to hit their accounts very soon

The leadership of the Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana on 19th May 2021 engaged stakeholders to find out the cause of the delay in payment of Teacher Trainees’ allowance.

The Chief Executive Officer for SLTF, Nana Kwaku Agyei Yeboah in his address to
the leadership of TTAG at the engagement stated that processes are far
advanced in getting the allowances paid and the Secretariat of SLTF is ever ready
to disburse the allowances to trainees as Soon as the funds reach their end. He
also added that trainees be made to understand that there are series of
bureaucracies involved before the monies are paid.

He admonished all teacher trainees to disregard any information from bloggers
who tend to give false hopes Dy stating rates meant tor allowances to e paid.
To that, he advised trainees to consider releases from the Secretariat of SLTF
and TTAG on issues of payment of the allowance.

Issues from the Communique

The leadership of GTEC commended the 25 General Assembly for keenly taking
into consideration ways of helping to raise the standard of education in Colleges
by identifying some pressing challenges and making recommendations to them.
The Director-General, Prof. Salifu Mohammed promised to engage stakeholders
to look into how to solve these challenges
